Wedding paper Divas Interview

By Interviewer at 04/17/09 00:05

Name of your website?

Wedding paper Divas

Your name?

Rick Bucich

Your Location (city, etc)

Mountain View, CA

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Wedding Paper Divas provides a wide range of modern bridal stationery including wedding invitations, save the date cards, bridal shower invitations, RSVP and thank you cards. All stationery is ordered through our website and personally typeset by hand by one of our designers.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

We launched Wedding Paper Divas after seeing tremendous success on its sister site Tiny Prints which specializes in personal stationery, holiday greetings & party invitations. We felt that there was a niche for our product that wasn't being served.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Tiny Prints launched in 2004 and Wedding Paper Divas launched soon after and has been successful from the start.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

Our unique designs set us apart, they are tasteful yet contemporary and can be found nowhere else. We currently have three styles, our "signature" cardstock, thermography and letterpress papers.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

The long term goal is to continue building out our business through additional offerings, styles and options to appeal to a wider audience.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, we've ensured that our technology and staff are scalable to ensure little or no impact to the user experience regardless of traffic.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth has been tremendous, especially since customers often only come to us once in their lifetime.

What is your website address?
