Love for photography!
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
Wow, about 5-6 years ago. It was a crude html website!
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Simple...name it after my business!
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
I tell me clients this...
You are distinct. You are remarkable. You are funny. You are romantic. You are special, and perhaps, even a little unusual. When commissioned for a wedding, each client receives all of my artistic ability, passion, and vision to capture the perfect wedding – yours.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To continue providing exceptional wedding, engagement, and bridal photography.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Very well!
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
Hmmm, I don't think I would at this time...it seems to be working well!
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes - I have a great team!
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Any business has its ups and downs, but when you have a passion for something it shows.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Balancing work and family...it's always a struggle.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth - my clients do the job for me!
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It definitely takes a lot of time (more than I originally had thought) but it's worth it. What better way to connect with the world!
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
I believe my site will always remain in one way or another. At least, I hope to leave that mark on the Internet!
Why photography?
Because it's in my soul. Who I am. It's pure passion!
