Please give us a short summary of your website?

The Murakami Photography website is a place to showcase some of our wedding images and show potential new clients the type of wedding photography we like to provide.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

The website has been live in various forms for around 4 years, over that time we've always been trying to find new ways to showcase our work but allow the pages to load quickly enough, it's always a balancing act!

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The "Murakami" name is Teri's former married name, it a Japanese word and means something like Mist rolling down the mountains, it just sounded nice and was a bit unusual.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

The most important thing for us is to showcase our wedding photography, it's really our images that stand out (we hope!).

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

We limit the number of weddings we photograph to 25 each year, popular dates book up over a year in advance.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Really word of mouth, we have a blog and share with clients what's going on and recent projects which they pass on to their friends.

What is the most fun part of running your business

We love what we do, in fact we feel blessed to be able to work with such great couples and provide them with images they love.
